The design sketches below were created as a final project for the 2019 University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business Master of Management course "Creativity" (BA 562) taught by Professor Darren Dahl.

For this project, I was inspired by two elements: Fashion and Eileen Chang. Studying a major in Asian Area Studies, I studied an intensive research course that focuses on Eileen Chang in my final year. The course allowed me to better understand her writings, her life, as well as her character. Knowing that she is considered a feminist writer who has a love for fashion, I came up with 5 different sets of cheongsam based on 5 female protagonists from four of my favorite novellas.
